Marketing and Communications support needed
Through Motivate, our new sports project, we’re looking to recruit and train Rangers and Young Leaders (14-18 years), in sports leadership and support them in developing and delivering a sports social action project in their local community; this would link with local partners/sports and clubs/organisations.
Currently, we use Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram to promote the Motivate project to our members. We also feature pieces in our quarterly newsletters. We are constantly looking for ways to improve our communications to encourage more girls and young women to get involved in the sport social action project. Since the project has been running since January 2018 until October 2020, our main focus is to ensure content is fresh and relevant without seeming too repetitive.
We would like someone to:
Dissect our social media communications and tell us how to make it better
Help us evaluate our analytics
Support us to look for other innovative ways to increase engagement
Offer new ideas such as: how to best engage with media, how to boost exposure, etc
We will make sure you:
- Have a clear idea of what we need.
- Access to all the information you need.
- Have a computer to work from with the relevant documents.
You will have the chance to:
- Find out more about the work we do.
- Share your skills!
- Meet new people
- Support us to make a positive difference to girls and young women
Where will this take place:
Whilst we work across Salford and Manchester our office base in in Preston. We will be happy to work with you in a community space in Manchester or Salford or come to your offices to work with you on this task.
Having the knowledge and understanding to better communicate our sport social action project so that more girls can get involved. It will also allow us to understand what works and open us up to new ideas to ensure that we can continue to support young people to fulfil their potential.
